詞義題是閱讀理解中的小難點(diǎn)之一，既考詞匯積累，還考察對句子的把握。

我們今天結合AEAS官方備考課程中的內容，來(lái)分析一下閱讀理解中詞義題的做法。話(huà)不多說(shuō)，直接上干貨

以下兩個(gè)句子中，劃線(xiàn)部分與哪個(gè)選項的意思最接近？

1. Houda helped promote the exhibition, making this activity known by more students.

A. Encourage

B. Advertise

C. Lift

D. Produce

2. Be inspired by what others have done. You don’t need to reinvent the wheel.

A. Don’t use wheels in your project

B. You shouldn’t waste time in your project

C. It’s OK to use other students’ idea for your project

D. Don’t copy other students’ idea in your project

第一題直接考察詞匯量，promote有三個(gè)主要意思：

① to help sth. to happen or develop 促進(jìn)，推動(dòng)

② to help sell a product or make it more popular by advertising it 推廣，促銷(xiāo)

③ to move sb. To a higher rank 提升（職務(wù)等）

由后半句話(huà)“making...known by more student”可知，promote在這里是“讓這個(gè)展覽被更多人知道”，更傾向于“推廣”這一層，因此答案為B

第二題的考點(diǎn)有二：

一是對reinvent一次的理解，這個(gè)詞由前綴re-和單詞invent構成給。前綴re-表示“再一次，又”（回顧單詞前綴請點(diǎn)擊）由此我們得到了reinvent的意思——“再次發(fā)明”（事實(shí)上，即使不認識invent也不影響這題的理解）；

二是對句子的理解， 要看到前后兩個(gè)句子之間的聯(lián)系?！捌渌?/span>XXXX，你不需要再做一遍XXXX”，也就是說(shuō)，“可以使用別人的東西”，而與這句話(huà)意思最相近的是C
